for as long as I can remember, I have been able to see, feel, the biomechanics taking place. I grew up watching sports, playing a lot of sports, dancing, and I competed division 1 in college. athleticism and rhythm has always come easily to me. I studied exercise science, and while I knew I was in the right field, I had no idea what I wanted to do…so I did a little of everything.

I assisted 5 physical therapists - one specialized in neurological, another in shoulders (specifically baseball players), and three in sport orthopedics. as my experience grew, so did my superpower. not only was I seeing angles and equations floating through space as I watched patients move, I was able to time optimal coordination and cue optimal movement patterns, leading to more efficient recoveries and return to sport.

by 2019 I had burnt myself out of clinics, corporate wellness and fitness, and once again unsure of my next step. my passion for the study of movement however prevailed. the brief section in my yoga teacher training certification brought pregnant and postpartum strength to my attention and it occurred to me that no one in my degree, nor anyone in my post undergrad study had ever mentioned this! the decision to pivot, leave my job and let physical therapy school go became so obvious.

coaching was even more natural as a pregnant postpartum exercise specialist. I felt my most aligned providing the tools necessary to perform, birth, live and recover better. our most power tool revealed itself to me and everything became so clear. coherency of breath brings forth coherency of mind, movement, and overall well being. stressing less is how you increase strength and longevity.
